About Blackwattle Farm
OUR PASSION
​
We are a young family with two very active boys, embracing a self-sustainable lifestyle on the farm. We aim to grow as much of our own food as possible including meat, eggs, fruit, honey, jams, vegetables and herbs. We can also milk two of our cows for milk, cheese and butter. We strive to eat seasonally to support other local farmers for anything we don't grow on the farm which results in us having low food miles.
HISTORY of Blackwattle Farm

Back in 2015, we decided it was time for a 'lifestyle' change and that's where our dream for Blackwattle farm was born. We have a passion for a sustainable, hands on way of living and love being able to share our 'back to basics' dream with our visitors. We're a crazy bunch and it's definitely a handful at times but we wouldn't have it any other way.

Traveling from the SOUTH:
Continue NORTH on the Bruce Highway taking EXIT 163 to Steve Irwin Way and Australia Zoo. Continue for 15km then turn left at the Beerwah traffic lights (GO TO LAST BIT)
Traveling from the NORTH:
Continue SOUTH on the Bruce Highway taking the Landsborough EXIT to Steve Irwin Way and Australia Zoo. Continue past Australia Zoo, turn RIGHT at the Beerwah traffic lights (GO TO LAST BIT)
LAST BIT:
Continue straight through the Roundabout to the next set of traffic lights, TURN Left onto the Kilcoy Beerwah Road. Continue for 3.5 km then OLD PEACHESTER ROAD is on your left. Continue along OLD PEACHESTER ROAD for 1 km. 123 BLACKWATTLE FARM sign will appear on your left.
Follow the road across a small bridge then veer right, up to the Farmhouse.
(If you are using Google Maps, please note that it will send you too far down Old Peachester Road. The Farm turn off is 280m prior to what Google says)
