Blackwattle Farm is one of the closest farm stays and B&B’s to Australia Zoo and provides three self contained accommodations; 2 x Tiny Houses and 1 x Spacious Cabin.

All our accommodations have been stylishly decorated and provide everything you require for a comfortable stay with us including a fully stocked kitchen and quality linen and towels.

A generous breakfast and animal tour is included in the rate.

Veggie Patch Tiny House

Our Veggie Patch Tiny House on wheels sleeps up to four people in two lofts with 1 x queen and 2 x singles (please note, you must be comfortable climbing stairs and is not suitable for kids under 7yo.)

There is a kitchenette, fridge, microwave, lounge, TV, aircon/heating, fans, USB points and a shower and vanity in a small bathroom. There is a fancy 'no smell' composting toilet outside accessible on the large deck.

There are BBQ facilities, outdoor dining, outside fireplace and the views overlook the cow paddocks and rainforest. Firewood can be purchased on request.

Breakfast, feeding the animals and full access to the farm is included in the rate. Please organise a time with us during your stay to harvest fresh, organic produce from our gardens.

Self - contained Rainforest Cabin

The self contained cabin is the largest of our accommodations and is perfect for families traveling with young children (the only one that suits kids under 7). It has open plan living with a king size bed in the main room with a lounge, dining and kitchenette. There is a separate bedroom with two singles and access to a large luxury style bathroom with a claw-foot bath/shower and farm views.

Out the back door is an entertaining area with BBQ, dining table, outdoor lounge and rainforest views. There is also an outdoor fire pit and firewood can be purchased on request. This accommodation is very private and quiet.

Tall Gum Tiny House

Our newest Tiny House is situated under the beautiful tall gums on our property, surrounded by rainforest and farmland. It sleeps a maximum of four people with 1 x queen bed on a meter high platform overlooking the native trees (must be able to climb two small steps) 1 x double bed in a loft (must be comfortable climbing stairs and is not suitable for kids under 7.)

Tall Gum has a kitchenette, separate bathroom a very fancy "no smell" compost loo. Outside is a generous deck overlooking rainforest views with BBQ, dining, and even an outdoor bath. We have created a modern, yet country feel space where you can relax from the city life and enjoy all that a tiny house has to offer.
