We are back from our travels &

Open for business

Welcome to Blackwattle Farm

Blackwattle Farm is situated on 20 acres at the base of the breathtaking Glasshouse Mountains, Beerwah. It's a perfect base to explore the Sunshine Coast with Australia Zoo just 10 minutes down the road and the gorgeous hinterlands and sandy beaches just 30 minutes away.

We are a small hobby farm with lots of animals, fresh & organic produce and a sustainable mindset, striving to maintain a low ecological footprint. We love sharing our farm and experiences with others and endeavor to be a fun, family friendly place for everyone to enjoy, relax and unwind.

We provide two types of accommodations;

Two cozy tiny houses and our larger, more spacious cabin.

All are fully self-contained and private.

During your stay, you are invited to help us feed all the animals in the mornings, collect fresh eggs from our hens daily and harvest from our organic gardens. We provide a generous breakfast which includes honey straight from the farm and delicious homemade jams. There is also a

farm-gate available to purchase extra homemade goodies during your stay or to bring home with you as a special souvenir.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

The Farm

We are a young family with two very active boys, embracing a self-sustainable lifestyle on the farm. We aim to grow as much of our own food as possible including meat, eggs, fruit, honey, jams, vegetables and herbs. We can also milk two of our cows for milk, cheese and butter. We strive to eat seasonally to support other local farmers for anything we don't grow on the farm which results in us having low food miles.

Back in 2015, we decided it was time for a lifestyle change and that's where our dream for Blackwattle farm was born. We have a passion for a sustainable, hands on way of living and love being able to share our 'back to basics' dream with our visitors. It's definitely a handful at times but we wouldn't have it any other way.
